5k Dog Walk
“4 legs are better than 2!”
Description
Come enjoy a relaxing walk with your dog. Trails are very wide and easy to negotiate (minimal rocks and roots). The course starts on asphalt and then leads into the woods for a truly beautiful walk through the countryside. All proceeds benefit Volunteers for animal’s Genesee county animal shelter. So everyone is a winner!!!

All registrants must resister by Sunday March 29th 2020 otherwise a $5 fee will be added per person.

Rules
- All dogs must be on a 6-foot leash. No retractable leashes or electric collars permitted. You will be asked to leave if your dog is unleashed.
- Be sure all vaccinations for your dog are current on race day. You must provide a current vaccination certificate when registering.
- All dog licenses must be current on race day according to the requirements of your stated residential area.
- For safety purposes, please do not bring: (1) female dogs that are in any stage of heat to the event; or (2) puppies less than 12 weeks of age. Any intact male dogs must be closely monitored.
- The race director and/or any volunteer have the right to ask you to leave if for any reason your dog is unmanageable or aggressive.
- All dog handlers must be at least 18 years old.
- Each participant is responsible to pick-up after their dog – keep bags with you at all times to help with clean-up efforts. Trash cans will be available at various points on the course.
- If you are asked to leave due to a violation of these rules, no refund will be provided.
